This sentiment of Maya Angelou’s poem - and the idea of what it means for women to work, create and be together - underpins all of our work in Breakfast Club, be it our way of creating material as a quartet or working within the wider world.
As such, we take this question into our various projects to see how it relates to communities from different backgrounds and experiences. We love how much we grow and learn as musicians when we are welcomed into these incredible spaces.
